If you’re going to reward someone make sure A LOT of people know about it. A recent study that focused on employees' opinions and preferences when it comes to receiving awards revealed almost 50% of those asked were more concerned with the total award experience than the actual physical reward. The way the award is presented and how it is communicated to the employee peer group amplified the experience and honor of the reward.
